RE

In RE we will be considering two big questions:  'How far does following God bring justice and freedom?’ and ‘What would Jesus Do?’

Our first question includes work on the story of Moses and ‘The 10 Commandments’.  We identify how some people put their beliefs into practice by trying to bring freedom to others, as well as investigating human rights and those that have fought for freedom and justice.  

Our second question we identify features of Gospel texts and how people interpret them differently.  We also make connections between these Gospel texts, Jesus’ ‘good news’ and how Christians live, relating it to the issues, problems and opportunities of their own lives.
