We believe that providing children with a broad range of engaging memorable experiences through visitors, visits and community partnerships as well as working together with parents and carers will help to underpin and enrich their learning, develop cultural capital and further life skills.

Our core values are at the very heart of our school have been developed collaboratively by the whole school community. The core values are interwoven throughout all learning. We help our children to grow through understanding the core values so that they develop in character, are reflective and self aware - emotionally, morally and spiritually. We also help them to understand how to stay physically healthy and look after their mental wellbeing. Our school values support them to grow and develop into respectful global citizens who will make a difference in communities and inspire others.

Our wider curriculum covers statutory objectives from the National Curriculum with the key knowledge, skills and vocabulary sequentially mapped out and built upon over time. Children are encouraged to re-visit prior learning and then delve even deeper, building on the knowledge taught progressively each year. We are confident that this will lead all children at our school to flourish – both academically and personally, throughout our curriculum, within their school life and beyond.
