Rocksteady is the UK’s leading provider of in‑school, band‑led music lessons for primary‑age children, offering a fun, inclusive and child‑centred approach that teaches pupils real instrumental, musicianship and performance skills as part of a band. Through engaging weekly sessions, children learn instruments such as keyboards, drums, guitar and vocals while exploring musical concepts including rhythm, chords, tempo and genres in a pressure‑free, highly motivating environment. Research shows that Rocksteady has a powerful impact on children’s wellbeing, confidence and sense of belonging: 81% of pupils say their school experience improves after joining, and 79% feel it helps them fit in—benefits which are especially strong for children with SEND. to perform with their band at the end of each term.

We feel it is really important for children to experience the performing arts and we are delighted to be able to heavily subsidise the cost of the lessons each term for the children who sign up to the music tutoring.
